The story so far...
My name is Bill Corbett, I have spent my entire adult life, over 20 years, working in kitchens and restaurants of all types. From mom and pop shops out in the country, fine dining overlooking the hill country, stadiums and arenas, and several notable local establishments, I have built multiple teams. It wasn’t until the last four years that I have developed a set of skills that can create a team in any organization no matter the size or the concept.
I base this on the belief that between the team members and the business there is a separate commitment that each side needs to make to the other. For the people joining the team, they must commit to having a positive mindset and be coachable. On the other side the restaurant must commit to having the ability to train the team in clear and effective methods that will allow anybody with the will to be able to accomplish the standards set for the team.
This is where the purposeful hospitality method comes from. We will work together to develop a training system that will be able to uphold the standards of the business and allow new team members to become long term A players. Through purposeful interviewing and personality assessments we can identify the diamonds in the rough that will want to be a part of the team and bring your vision to life.
One side can’t do it without the other, but as the saying goes, if you want to go fast do it yourself but if you want to go far you're going to need a team.
I feel that working in restaurants is one of the most noble career a person can have and My Goal is to keep it that way and welcome the next generation into this amazing profession.
